We stayed the night before catching the ferry to Orkney, with our dog. The room was gorgeous, with a very comfortable bed and a fabulous shower. It's an old house, so give the hot water a moment to come through. Breakfast was plentiful and cooked fresh to order. We'd highly recommend it and stay again.

The town is easy to reach on foot, and the hostess and staff went above and beyond. Our room was clean and comfortable, the free wifi was fantastic, and breakfast was included and cooked individually for each person. A great place to stay in Thurso. Highly recommended, and thanks for a wonderful stay.

Lisa and I felt warmly welcomed during our stay. The room was great, the breakfast exceptional, and nothing was too much trouble.

Lisa was such a friendly force of nature and really helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was good, served with a smile even before our early ferry. We stayed a couple of nights, and the place was handy for the Orkney Ferry. There were also some lovely places to visit nearby.

I’m not usually one to complain, but the place didn’t look as nice as it did in the photos or reviews. I paid £130 for one night and was upgraded to a disabled access room, but the carpets were stained. When I politely asked the host whether even a 50% refund might be possible, the response was awful. My partner and I ended up booking a much better hotel around the corner.
