I came for a send-off on 22-Nov-25 for an old friend from my Saudi Arabia days. The staff were all friendly and knew their jobs well, and breakfast was excellent. I'd happily stay again. Dunnet Head, mainland Britain's most northerly point, is very close and worth seeing, but take warm clothes since it's windy and cool this time of year. If you need a bottle at Inverness Airport, there's a huge selection to choose from.

We stopped in for dinner and thought the food was very good. Service was excellent too. There's plenty of parking, and the place is wheelchair accessible.

A ferry cancellation left us needing somewhere to sleep at short notice, and this place worked out really well. The woman looking after us was a lot of fun and even put the Newcastle match on in the bar. Our room was clean and lovely, the bed was comfortable, and the food was really nice. A good place to stay if you're nearby.

I wish I'd discovered this hotel years ago. The rooms are very comfortable, and there's a roomy bar and restaurant serving great gastro pub food. It’s run by genuinely nice people. I'll be back for sure, and can promise them four bookings a year on my quarterly trips to Orkney.

The chef is celiac, I think, so there were lots of gluten-free choices and no worries about cross-contamination. The food was fantastic, and I definitely ate too much. A great place to eat.
