After a long day travelling, I found the cosy room at Holborn Hotel in Thurso easy to relax in. It was exceptionally clean and neatly arranged, with a simple setup that felt thoughtfully put together. By the window there was tea and coffee, a nice touch. The shower was one of the best I had on my trip, with great pressure and steady hot water that felt especially comforting in the cold. The hotel had a warm, welcoming feel, and reception was clean and presentable. I’d definitely stay here again.

We loved the meal in the restaurant, and the staff were so friendly and lovely. The room was very clean, and the hot shower was fantastic. It’s in a great location.

It seems like a nice enough place, and the food wasn’t bad. The restaurant was short on Christmas spirit, though. Other than a wreath on the door and one cracker each, it didn’t feel much like a Christmas meal to me.

A lovely place for a one-night stop. The staff were welcoming, the menu had a good range of choices, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Still waiting for someone to invent silencers for snoring guests 👆🏻😅🙏🏻

We had dinner here on a Saturday evening. It was lively and welcoming, and the service was very efficient. The staff were great. The rhubarb and ginger gin was delicious, as were the fish and chips and the burger. I’d definitely recommend it to visitors.
