My friend Bryan had a rum and coke here and said it was really tasty.

The setting has potential and the staff seemed alright, but at £90 for one night during a Knockhill event, I expected more than a bed and bathroom. The mattress sank through to the base when I sat on it, wallpaper was coming off the ceiling, the walls were dirty, and the shower shrieked while running. The TV was smaller than my iPad, and the walls were so thin I could hear the neighbour plugging in chargers. There were no fans, heater controls, iron, or anything else. It wasn't worth even £50 a night for what you get. A shame.

We slept well here since the rooms are far enough from the bar that we didn't hear any noise. The location is handy and great for walking in the local hills. Staff were friendly and professional, and the rooms were nice, especially for the price.

We keep coming back, and have been staying here on and off for more than a year. My husband also spent nine months here for work last year. The rooms have always been perfectly sufficient, and the owners and staff make us feel so welcome. We recently tried the newly opened Chinese restaurant, and the food was amazing, unlike any Chinese food I've had before. Thanks to everyone for looking after my family and me. We'll be back for years.
