You can stay overnight in the car park in a campervan or motorhome. The menu has plenty to choose from, and there’s a good range of drinks too. We had a good homemade meal, though it cost a bit more than at some other places. The food was good quality, and the log fire was burning warmly. There are peg solitaire games on the tables as well.

There’s a big choice of cask drinks, spirits, cocktails and mocktails, and the food menu has plenty on it at reasonable prices. We ordered at the bar and had beef stew with horseradish dumplings and homemade cottage pie. Service was very good. It’s a popular pub right in the centre of Tintagel, with a lively feel, pool, darts and slot machines. There are quieter tables at the far end and lots of covered outdoor seating. Sports are shown on the TVs too, if that’s your thing.

We ate very well here, and the service was quick. The portions were really generous, with lots of meal choices at fair prices. It’s a traditional pub in the heart of Tintagel.

We were glad to find gluten intolerance options, and the staff were very friendly. Service was very good, with a massive selection of drinks too. There weren’t many places serving food when we arrived, since lots of them close for a few hours in the middle of the day. Some dishes looked expensive to me from the menu, but the portions were huge and it was a decent meal.

Beth got the food out to our group of thirteen really quickly once it was ready. Paul had taken our orders and brought our drinks, and both of them were wonderful with us. We had a delicious dinner and great customer service.
