We used the site as a base for six nights and would definitely come back. You can join the coastal paths at two spots on the edge of the site, with walks towards Bocaster and Tintagel that are a bit of a challenge. The cliff-top setting has stunning views, and it’s very dog friendly. Nacho loved the dog field. Food trucks were there on various evenings, handy when we didn’t feel like cooking. It was very windy during our stay, so we had to put the pop top down to sleep. The facilities were excellent, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. It’s a fairly large site. A few pitches in the top field were uneven, but manageable. One thing to watch: sat nav may send you down single-track lanes that aren’t suitable for caravans or large motorhomes.

The sunsets were great, and it’s a good campsite in a fantastic location. For coastal walks, there’s a route north to Boscastle and another south to Tintagel, both with steep climbs and descents for the adventurous. The waterfall walk is less strenuous. The toilet block was clean and efficient, up to CAMC standards. Some pitches were tight, and getting awning pegs into or out of the hardstanding was difficult.

The walk into Tintagel is breathtaking, with direct access to the coastal path from this wonderful site. The pitches are tiered so they all get the stunning views. Facilities were spotlessly clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There’s a bus stop just outside the entrance, with good service to Bude and Wadebridge. Nacho loved the dog field 🐾, and we’ll definitely return.

We had fantastic views of the sea and coastline, and many pitches have an uninterrupted outlook. The amenities were spotless, the staff friendly and helpful, and there was a food van on site most days. The coastal path has amazing scenery, though it can be difficult if you’re not steady on your feet. Tintagel and St Isaac are well worth a visit. There are plenty of narrow country roads to deal with, but traffic was light, so it wasn’t too bad. Be careful about relying on the sat nav every time! I also should’ve listened to the advice about awnings and wind. Enough said 😁

It’s a nice, quiet spot with clean facilities and fantastic views. There are lots of walks to nearby Tintagel and Boscastle. Just be aware there’s nothing within walking distance, so bring plenty of supplies.
