King John's House

Our wedding weekend here was perfect, and we’re so happy with our stay. There were 13 of us for three nights, and we all loved the immaculate rooms, fantastic bedrooms, comfy beds, and the fact that every room has its own bathroom. The house is incredible, and we could easily have stayed much longer. The team from Rushmore Estate were excellent throughout the booking process, and communication was fantastic.

The house is stunning, as are the grounds, and it worked really well for our wedding weekend. There was plenty of room and equipment for so many guests, the rooms were comfortable, and check-in and check-out went seamlessly. We’re looking forward to coming back for a family vacation soon.

King John House gave us the chance to make more memories together with our whole family, since it sleeps 17. It’s a truly unique and special place, unlike anywhere else, and we’d love to return. The incredible grounds and house also made a perfect setting for photos, adding to the magic of our wedding weekend. We’d recommend it to everyone.

Having our family and wedding party stay with us at King John house made the wedding weekend even more special, because we got to spend time together. The house was beautiful and practical. Every room had an ensuite, so guests didn’t need to share bathrooms, and there was plenty of space for me to get ready with my bridesmaids while staying separate from my husband-to-be and his groomsmen. Carol was really helpful and answered all our questions throughout the process. We’d 100% recommend staying here.
