We loved our stay, and we'd definitely book again and recommend it. Drew and his wife were so accommodating that we wanted for nothing. Our one-year-old daughter loved saying hello to the chickens in the mornings. The conservatory lounge was welcoming and relaxing, with a handy sofabed for me, while the bedroom was cosy for my wife and daughter. The bathroom was great and nicely done.

Deborah and Drew made our group of six feel very welcome at the Barn. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and immaculately clean, and breakfast was excellent. We had a wonderful weekend and can't recommend it enough. Looking forward to coming back soon.

That banana yogurt will stay with me! Derek and his wife were amazing hosts and made us feel at home. The place was quiet and very clean, and breakfast was second to none. Definitely coming back.

We were a group and could spend time together in the shared areas or enjoy our own space. Each of the three rooms has its own couch and living-room area, and there's lots of outdoor space with chickens roaming around. Drew and Deborah were lovely hosts, and the delicious breakfast and morning chats were a treat. We had a wonderful stay at the Barn and hope to return for Black Deer festival in 2022. Highly recommended.

The booking system let us reserve a room that explicitly allowed a one-year-old, but then we were told that room wasn't available for a child that age. The other rooms weren't suitable for us, so we tried to cancel because they couldn't provide what we'd agreed to. They still refuse to refund the booking. Very poor service, and it feels out of step with modern hospitality.
