The owner was friendly, and breakfast was great. We only stopped for one night, but the clean, spacious room had good WiFi and its own outdoor seating area. I'd definitely recommend it.

A lovely pub run by a family, with great accommodation.

We were staying nearby and stopped in for dinner and a drink, not overnight. The food was tasty, well-cooked traditional pub fare, and we had a great evening. They were very welcoming from the moment we arrived, especially the helpful woman behind the bar. It's an old-fashioned sort of place where the owner and staff make an effort to look after people. Very dog-friendly too, which suited us well. Recommended.

Really friendly staff and a great room. The food they do serve is amazing, though the pub's closed on Mondays and the restaurant doesn't serve food on Tuesdays.
