Mayfield B&B

Scott and Linda were a huge help with dinner spots, other walking trails and dishes to try. We spent three nights at Mayfield B and B and had a wonderful time. Our en-suite room was a good size, the bed was comfortable, and we had views of the Highlands. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh eggs from their hens, bacon from the local butcher and Linda’s homemade jams. It kept us full and ready for our Ben Nevis hike. My husband and I highly recommend Mayfield B and B!

We stayed in June and had a comfy room, a fantastic breakfast and such lovely hosts. They even helped us with our baby's laundry.

Our hosts couldn't have done more for us, and the rooms were nicely decorated with everything we needed. This was our first B&B, and we were so pleased with it. It's a great base for Fort William: we filled a lovely week with the Caledonian Canal locks, the Steam Train to Mallaig, and a quick trip to Skye. We wouldn't stay anywhere else on future trips to the Highlands. Already looking forward to more holidays. 😀

We got a warm welcome and helpful restaurant suggestions when we asked. They're around a 10-15 minute drive away. We stayed two nights for our Ben Nevis climb, and the location was ideal, about a 10-minute drive from the car park at the start, with a path from the B&B itself as another option. The room was modern, clean, spacious, and looked out over the back garden. The cooked breakfast could have been better compared with other B&Bs we've tried, but I'd recommend this guest house.
