The hosts were incredibly warm, friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to make everyone feel welcome, including young children, which can be tricky. We’ve rarely met hosts quite so lovely. The rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and the location was quiet and relaxing with easy access to local attractions. It’s a well-maintained B&B with excellent amenities, and we’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Felicity and Paul were lovely and knew a lot about the local area. The harbour is about a 15-minute walk away, though the walk back is steep. Our hosts were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and breakfast service was excellent. We had a lovely stay and I’d recommend it.

Felicity and Paul were very welcoming and happy to offer advice, guides or maps. Breakfast was great, with a lovely view over the garden and local area. My room was clean and tidy, and I appreciated having tea and coffee facilities after a day out walking and sightseeing. Barclay Court is beautifully decorated and well placed, about five minutes on foot from a main shopping area and under fifteen minutes from the harbour. The walk up to the guest house has a slight hill, but I found it manageable and think most people would too. I’d happily stay again. Thanks, Felicity and Paul, for making my stay so nice.

We spent four nights here with family and couldn’t have been happier. The owners, Paul and Felicity, were so friendly and accommodating, and made us feel welcome the whole time. The location was perfect, breakfast was lovely, and the rooms were immaculate, cleaned daily, well equipped and very comfortable. Great value for money. We’ll definitely be back.

Felicity and Paul make me and my 6-year-old daughter feel so welcome. She loves it here. We’ve stayed for the last two years and are already booked in for next year’s holiday. The rooms are modern, practical and clean, and there’s plenty of tasty breakfast available. I’d highly recommend it as our favourite home from home 😊
