David was a great host and cook, making sure guests were happy with their stay. Sea Point Hotel is in a peaceful part of town, so we slept well, yet it’s close to Torquay’s attractions. The marina and downtown are less than a five-minute walk away. I’d highly recommend it.

Good value for money. The place is honest and decent, about a seven-minute walk from the Harbor, away from the crowds and noise. Breakfast was nice and plentiful. Definitely worth it.

The place was clean, and the owners were friendly and helpful. If we go back to Torque, we’ll definitely stay there again.

We only stayed one night, but the bed was so uncomfortable I didn’t sleep at all. There was a dump-like smell, and every toilet flush brought a really bad stink from the bathroom. The whole block is very old and needs a complete refurbishment; the decor needs updating too. For the price, it’s a dump of a place and shouldn’t be on the market.
