The Rosewood Torquay

The beds were so comfortable that we all slept brilliantly, and the whole place felt welcoming and like home. We had a great girls’ holiday here. It was clean, stylishly decorated and cosy throughout. The host also made our late check-in easy, which helped a lot. The train station, seafront and town centre are all a short walk away, with convenience shops nearby. There’s no lift, so reaching the top floor took some effort, but it was manageable. A really enjoyable stay.

Amy was the most welcoming host I’ve met, and I’ve travelled quite a bit. She pays attention to every detail, from the table setting and furniture to food requirements. We had a great stay as a family. The rooms were spacious, bright with natural light and very clean, and the food was lovely and carefully prepared. I’d recommend the place to anyone staying in Torquay.

We stayed at the Rosewood in Torquay in August 2022, my wife, our two young boys and me. Amy and Richard made the visit a pleasure, and we’d certainly recommend staying here. Our family room had plenty of space, the B&B was exceptionally clean and hygienic, and breakfast was hot and really tasty. It’s also just a short walk to the beach. We spent five nights here as a family of five and thoroughly enjoyed it. Amy is such a lovely host and really makes an effort to help you feel welcome. The rooms were spotless, and it’s a handy base for visiting Cockington and Babbacombe. We’ll book again and hope to come back soon.
