We stayed at the Westgate over the long Jubilee weekend and would happily return. Karen and Lee were wonderful proprietors who went out of their way to help and make us feel welcome. There was plenty of choice at breakfast, and the steaks we had one evening were delicious. The room was spotless and modern, and the bed and bedding were both great quality.

We had a newly refurbished room on the ground floor, with lots of space and a modern en-suite. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was excellent. It made a good base for our two-night stay in May. The owners had also been very helpful when I needed to change our booking before we arrived. Thanks!

Our room was tidy and clean, with a powerful shower, and we got great WiFi in the top room at the back. The bed was very comfortable, and breakfast was filling, with attentive service. They explained the COVID-19 precautions from the start. Everyone was friendly and accommodating, and we really enjoyed our two nights.

Karen and Lee always take good care of you. The rooms and location are great, and breakfast is good too. Another amazing stay, as always. I'd highly recommend The WestGate when you're in Torquay.

We had a comfortable, clean room, and the hosts gave us helpful advice about the area. Breakfast was generous and very nice, and Lee did an excellent job with the couple of evening meals we ate there. Karen and Lee were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We'd definitely come back, so thank you, Alex and Karen.
