The rooms were great, with lovely attention to detail and thoughtful finishing touches that made for a comfortable stay. Lynn & Paul gave us a friendly welcome at Carlton Court. Breakfast was so good, I’d definitely recommend adding it to your stay. We’re looking forward to returning to Torquay and staying here again.

Carlton Court is in a lovely, peaceful spot, yet it’s within a 15-minute walk of the town centre and seafront. There’s private parking, which is a big plus in a city. Lynn and Paul gave us directions and recommendations for local attractions and places to eat, and were so attentive that we felt right at home. The room was beautifully decorated, spotless and equipped with everything we needed, even makeup remover towels. Breakfast was the best we had on our road trip through the South of England. It was made to order with fresh, local ingredients, and the breakfast room was elegant and cosy, with an honesty bar made by Paul. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay and would highly recommend it for a memorable getaway. Thank you, Lynn and Paul!

Our room was more like a small suite, nicely equipped and fresh, and the whole building was clean and comfortable. Lynn and Paul were friendly, helpful and accommodating hosts. Breakfasts were wonderful too. It’s on a quiet street, only a few minutes on foot from the sights, the seafront, Torre Abbey and everything else. This charming B&B was perfect for our stay in Torquay, and I’d highly recommend it for any length of stay.

We’ve just got back from a brilliant stay at Carlton Court. Lynn and Paul were lovely hosts, and their rooms were stunning and immaculate. They know the local attractions and restaurants well, and took the time to chat with us about the best places for paddle boarding, which we were really keen to try. Breakfast was incredibly yummy, with lots of options. It’s a brilliant place to stay and we’ll definitely be back.
