This family-run hotel has a pleasant back garden and a meeting room. Since we were neighbours, the owners let us use the room for free and said we could instead contribute to their charity for underprivileged kids if we wanted. A relaxed, friendly hotel with heart ❤
The garden has an aviary, swings and a swimming pool, which made this a great fit for us and our two grandchildren. It’s a small, friendly place with lovely, comfortable little rooms that have all you need.
Some parts of this place were quite good, but others were dreadful. A few rooms had a really bad smell, the food was basic but OK, and there was entertainment on just one of the four nights. I don’t think I’ll return.
The breakfast and service were good, and the host was friendly. It’s a family-run business. There was no WiFi in the room, so I had to use it near reception. The bathroom sink was in the bedroom, and I had to fill the kettle using a tumbler.
The staff were really friendly and helpful. The place was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was brilliant, with loads of choice.
