The peaceful surroundings made it easy to switch off, and everything was clean and beautifully looked after from the moment I arrived. There are plenty of food options nearby, too. Our home was spacious, cozy, tastefully furnished, and had everything we needed. The warm pool, set in nature, was a highlight. The kids and our friends had so much fun, and everything had been thoughtfully set up to make us feel at home. Colin and Andrea were friendly and caring hosts, which made the stay even better. I'd highly recommend this holiday home for a quiet break and am already looking forward to another visit.

We had a lovely stay in a peaceful setting. The lodge was spacious, clean, and well equipped, and we enjoyed the heated pool. The only thing I'd suggest is a more comfortable mattress on the double bed, which we found uncomfortable. Colin and Andrea couldn't have been more helpful. After our breakdown on the way to the site, Colin came to check on us and even looked up local garages. Thanks again to both of them. We'd highly recommend staying here.

The owners were friendly and helpful right from the start. The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and well equipped, and there are great shared facilities, including a pool, games room, tennis court, and BBQ. A handy base for easy day trips around Devon.

A quiet, lovely site, with helpful, friendly owners and plenty to see nearby. Our chalet, number 9, was comfortable and laid out much like a caravan, though parts looked a little dated. The bed was the hardest part of the stay for me. It was very firm, I could feel the springs, and I didn't sleep for long. My arthritis may have made me more sensitive to it. I'd gladly come back if the beds were softer and more comfortable. The kitchen has the basics, and towels, bedding, tea towel, oven gloves, washing up sponge and cloth, a toilet roll, and a little washing up liquid were provided to get started. The fridge has a small ice box, fine for an ice pack but not for keeping meat frozen. If you plan to cook much, you might want to bring extra equipment: the pans and oven tray are small, most pans have no lids apart from the tiniest one, and there's no masher.
