We always enjoy coming back to The Cavalier Inn in Torrington. It has a warm, relaxed feel, and the team make you feel welcome with friendly, attentive service. Prices are fair for the quality, and there’s a good choice of drinks. The roast carvery is the main draw for us: generous servings, lovely quality food, and all the classic favourites cooked just right. It’s just as good eaten in or taken away. We’d happily recommend it to family and friends.

The food was tasty and fairly priced, and the place had a pleasant buzz with locals having a drink alongside people dining. Staff were friendly and efficient. We’ll be back.

The cozy feel and attentive, friendly staff made our Wednesday carvery visit to The Cavalier a real treat. They made sure we had what we needed, and it was clear they care about both the food and the service. There was a great range of meats, all cooked beautifully, with fresh, tasty sides. If you're in Torrington, I'd recommend stopping in for the carvery. We're already looking forward to returning.

They'd stopped serving food when we arrived looking for a meal, but the bartender kindly said we could pick up a takeaway and eat it in the pub. They even brought us cutlery. Really helpful, thoughtful service. I'd definitely recommend them.
