£12.95 for a midweek roast with beef and all the trimmings, plus pudding. Three meats to choose from, beef, pork or chicken, and generous portions of homemade food of amazing quality. Nicky and the team looked after us like royalty. If anything, £12.95 is too cheap for this. Absolutely amazing, thank you 🙏

We got lucky and found a table inside, though I’d book ahead if you’re planning to eat indoors. There’s also lots of outdoor seating. The pub was well placed for our walk around the Isle, but getting there and around the area means spending some time on country roads. The service was excellent, and dinner was very good for the price. Our room was comfortable, if a little small and dated, and there were no problems with it. The room rate seemed reasonable with a decent breakfast included. I also had the best pint of Guinness on the island, with a nice range of local beers. The non-alcoholic choices were a bit limited.

The staff knew their stuff and were attentive, and we had a delicious meal outside in a really attractive setting. We stopped in on the way back from The Needles and were pleasantly surprised. We’ll definitely be back.

We came across this place by chance while walking the coastal path and sat in the garden on a glorious day. Though it’s near a road, it was very quiet, and the little pond and water feature made the setting feel lovely. There’s a broad menu, including several lobster dishes, a local speciality. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Cosy little pub with really good food. The staff were friendly and easy to get along with. I’d especially recommend the fish curry, a really good alternative.
