We stayed for dinner on Saturday and the food was top drawer. The staff were excellent and friendly the whole time, and the room was lovely with a super comfortable bed. It was a last-minute one-night stay, but we'll visit again since we have elderly parents nearby. I can be fussy, and I'd highly recommend this place.

I originally booked one night for work, but enjoyed it so much that I added another night at the end. The rooms were fantastic, the food was delicious, and the breakfast and evening staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

We stayed on a Saturday night when the pub was packed with a wedding party, yet they welcomed us warmly and found us a parking space. The restaurant was very well run and the food was excellent. There was also a good selection of real ales at the bar, and I loved the Salcombe Devon Amber.

Jess in management always makes us and our fur baby Lexi feel welcome. The food is incredible every time, and we'd recommend anyone visiting Totnes to stop by the steam packet. We wish every place were this welcoming. It's our absolute favourite!

We stopped for a pint and something to eat. Lovely pub, friendly staff and a lovely setting. The mussels were delicious, and we enjoyed watching the rowing club practice on the river. Keep an eye on the seagulls. They watch closely, and if they sniff out plates left behind when you get up, they swoop in. The staff must be used to them, as they clear tables super quickly. We'll definitely be back.
