People blast music, and although it's reported to security, nothing gets done. Staff are rude, mostly sit on their phones, disappear from the desk for ages, and leave me waiting a long time for my parcel. People smoke weed and leave rubbish in the building without anything being done. There are lots of AirBnb's here, with parties going all night. I'll probably move out soon.
I've lived here for two years, and now the building feels unsafe for residents. People coming through AirBNB's seem to have no regard for the people who live here. There are drugs, music blasting at 3-4 in the morning, and once there was a physical fight on our floor at 4am. Police came and there was so much noise. Last year people were caught growing a weed farm in their apartment, and many people were arrested. Management doesn't respond to complaints about noise or music. Water keeps leaking into our apartment when it rains, leaving a huge puddle, and there are never any checks. They clean the windows once a year and missed one side of ours. People leave rubbish outside their apartments and nothing is done. Management needs to deal with the AirBNB's, the loud music and residents' safety.
What began as a standard tenancy has turned into a building full of Air B&Bs, late-night parties, fights and weekly police intervention. It's unsafe and a disgrace, not fit for residents or families. We're surrounded by Air B&Bs, and just this weekend (28.02.26), a huge brawl broke out next door and woke my partner and me. Men were hitting women, there was heavy drug taking, and a flood outside our door. DO NOT MOVE HERE! BOYCOTT
The residents don't seem to care about rubbish and mess being dumped in communal areas, and the whole place stinks. Heaton Group have completely given up on this building. It's a modern-day slum, with shit-stained pants in the lift, Laughing Gas canisters everywhere and bin bags in communal areas. I'm counting down the days until I move out. Don't move here. You can do better.
The building feels badly managed and neglected. The car parks and nearby streets are full of rubbish because the bins overflow, and the developers are to blame for letting it get this way. More and more flats have been bought for Airbnb over the years, even though the apartments are meant for two people and some bookings bring up to eight, along with DJ decks and big speakers. At weekends, groups of men come and go through the night, there are raves, and you won't get any sleep. I've also seen what seem to be sex workers and P models filming videos in the flats. There are remnants and baggies left around, even poo-filled underwear in the lift. With no security, it feels dangerous, like a hotel full of people being allowed to run wild. I wouldn't move here. Airbnb guests shouldn't be allowed to behave like this, and poor building management is responsible.
