The location is great, with lovely views, a short walk to the stadium, about 15 minutes by car to Manchester Piccadilly, and roughly 10 minutes to the Trafford Centre. The room was spotless throughout the hotel, and breakfast was enjoyable, especially the fresh croissants and pastries. I wasn't keen on the avocado and poached eggs, but the service was friendly and welcoming. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and the room had dependable air conditioning and heating, plenty of hot water, and useful extras like tea and coffee, a mini fridge, iron and board, hair dryer and safe. The football-themed toiletries were fun. Still, loud music from downstairs kept me awake until around 2am. The room showed signs of wear that need attention for a four-star hotel, and the basic décor, worn linen and towels felt closer to a three-star standard.
