It was frustrating trying to get help. The property is hard to find, and contacting customer service was even harder. They seemed to be based overseas, and getting issues dealt with took far too long. When we reported a strong dusty smell from the duvet and asked for it to be changed, they asked us to send photos instead of sorting it out promptly. There wasn’t a spare duvet in the cupboard either. The unlabeled light switches also made it difficult to tell what each one controlled. Poorly managed experience.

It’s a modern apartment block. You enter the main door with a code, but the rooms use keys. There’s private parking at the back, with no spaces for visitors. Nearby street parking is limited too, since most roads have double yellow lines.

United won, at least, so the trip was worth it 🤣. We’d parked here on match days before for £10. Two weeks ago the barriers were up but nobody was there, which seemed odd, but we parked anyway. Then a parking fine arrived. There was a tiny sign saying not to park, and in a rush we missed it. Enjoy the £55. Maybe put up a bigger sign and use the barriers properly with the extra money you’ve made!

The “Snug 1BR Apt 4KTV-TV-Free Parking” listing on booking.com, or any other site, is a scam. We never got to stay. The “host,” loosely speaking, was terrible at communicating. Sometimes he replied, sometimes he didn’t. After about an hour of being messed around when we arrived, we cancelled because of some “issue” that was never explained clearly. There was talk of a double booking and a code that didn’t work. Any offers for properties at 95 Talbot Road, Alexander House are a scam. It cost us time and money. BUYER BEWARE!
