The food was lovely, service was quick, and the staff were really nice. It could use a bit of modernising, but otherwise it was awesome. Loved this poster, though 😂😂

We had a brilliant stay, with a big room, free Wi-Fi and parking, and a nice outdoor area. The manager was very helpful, and breakfast had a superb menu. The adjoining Blacksmith Arms pub offers a huge, quality menu too. The hotel is away from town and the beach, so we had a hire car. Faultless.

A party of ten, and everyone was happy. The sizzlers were great, and the lemon sole was lovely and cooked just right. The sea bass was a good size and perfectly done, though it could have used a little fennel. Blacksmith Arms is always consistent and good value for money, it never disappoints.

The attached pub bar had a great selection of food, and breakfast was brilliant in a pleasant dining room. Our comfortable room had matching oak furniture. The hotel is a very nice place north of St Helier, so you'll need a car to explore the island. I'd definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was good, and the service was friendly. But the hotel felt very dated and could do with a complete overhaul. We booked for a weekend in St Helier, and getting around means having a car or taking lots of taxis, since the walk is 45 minutes and includes a big hill. The blackout curtains were good in the morning, but they didn't cover the bottom of the windows. The TV was tiny, more like a computer monitor, and sat across the room.
