Those ribs were amazing, easily the best we’ve ever had, and there’s a whole smokehouse menu I’d like to work my way through. We’d found this lovely pub while walking nearby. Caroline was a really friendly hostess, and we loved the place’s vibe. Hope we can come back and try staying there too.

That blackberry and apple crumble was the best I’ve had in years. We stopped at Elstead Inn for Sunday lunch while visiting family in Stedham, and everything was hot, nicely cooked and really tasty. The staff were friendly, and it was good value. Definitely coming back next time we’re here. Well done.

The food was freshly cooked and full of flavour, and the staff were so friendly. We felt welcome as soon as we came in. It’s a lovely country pub, cozy and relaxed, with loads of charm. Can’t wait to visit again.

Two courses for £23.95 is a real bargain, and the roast was fabulous. The beef was cooked just right, with a great atmosphere and incredible staff. The owners are warm and welcoming, and you can tell The Elsted Inn is much loved locally. It has that relaxed feel of a proper country pub. A true gem. Just hope it doesn’t get so busy that we can’t get a table!

We were camping down the road and came in for a meal and a few drinks. There were three families in our group, so the huge garden and all the kids’ games were a lovely surprise. The owners made us feel very welcome, and we all enjoyed the food. Thanks so much for looking after us.
