The evening meal was very nice and good value, the rooms were a good size, and the staff made the stay feel like home. Suze, Linda and the young lad who greeted me were especially friendly and a real credit to the hotel. My one disappointment was the American-style ‘continental’ breakfast, as there was no cooked option. I’ll stay here again when I’m in the area. Thank you 😊

The staff were excellent, pleasant and made us comfortable, and they sorted out our small issues very well. The Moonraker Hotel is a real find in lovely Wiltshire countryside, with high-quality rooms in a beautiful old manor house and grounds, all at an affordable price. We’ll definitely make it our regular hotel when visiting Trowbridge. Thank you.

I can’t recommend this hotel. My partner and I paid in advance for a two-night booking for my birthday, from 28/11/25 to 30/11/25. I caught Covid, so we cancelled to avoid putting people at the hotel at risk. The hotel accepted the cancellation and told us we’d get a refund. Despite repeated emails, we still haven’t received it. I think they should either rebook us for another date or refund part of the payment. If I could, I’d give it 0.

The Moonraker is in a beautiful setting, and the period house and characterful room made for a really enjoyable stay. Service was impeccable and we felt well looked after. There was a good choice at the continental breakfast.

My girlfriend and I love staying here. It feels special, whether we’re coming for romance or just a break, and the scenery is spectacular. The Moonraker is my favourite place to stay in Trowbridge and the surrounding area. Thank you for our stays!
