There’s plenty of parking right outside in the private car park, and the location is handy, just a six-minute drive into Truro. Lidl is opposite and Sainsbury’s is further down the road. Our room was a good size for me and my husband, nice and clean, with an en suite shower and toilet, a fridge, kettle and TV. We were met promptly and shown in, and were given the WiFi password and a phone number to call if we needed help. The socket by the bed sadly didn’t work. We were very pleased with the stay.

We got good value for the money, with parking on site and a 10-15 minute walk downhill into Truro. The staff were friendly, and the rooms clean and tidy. The shower temperature was a bit hit and miss.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the price for a single room was exceptionally low. The room itself was comfortable but dated, and the TV didn’t work. It would help to have instructions for getting service when you arrive. I was disappointed for a stay of more than one night.

The location made it easy to get around on foot. The city centre is a 15-minute walk downhill, and The County Arms is about five minutes away. Lidl is across the road, with Sainsburys a couple of minutes’ walk away. The accommodation was simple, clean and comfortable, and check-in was quick.

The description was misleading: it said there were two bedrooms and access to a kitchen, but in reality there were just two rooms, one shared toilet and no kitchen facilities. The location was convenient.
