This is a restful, eco-conscious cottage run by a friendly couple. It's not right on the beach, though the beach isn't far, and having a car would be useful. The facilities are nice, and I loved the animals nearby. The free-ranging chickens next door regularly come by to say hello, and a short walk takes you to the horses and sheep. The whole place has a lovely, relaxing feel.

The Dairy was a lovely room to relax in, with a TV, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, especially the amazing super king. It's a great place to stay and well located for driving around Cornwall's sights. We'd definitely come back.

We loved returning to the farm after days out in the tourist spots. It's peaceful there, and the location worked really well for seeing the area, about 20-25 minutes from either coast and 45 minutes from Lands End. Our family spent a week in The Barn, which was lovely, and Simon and Maria were welcoming and helpful with local advice. The online welcome booklet they emailed before we arrived was also a real help, packed with accommodation details, check-in and check-out information, beaches, places to eat and pretty much everything we needed to choose where to go.

We spent six nights on a lovely four-generation family break, renting three different properties. Everything was very clean and comfortable, with no issues or complaints. The setting is a little remote, but that wasn't a problem since coastal landmarks and attractions are within a 30-minute drive. We'd return without hesitation.

I really enjoyed staying here with my dog Spencer. Maria even gave Spencer a special towel! Simon and Maria were lovely hosts, and the cottages are comfortable and well equipped, especially the kitchens. The Wi-Fi was great too.
