The room had useful facilities, including a microwave, plates, fridge, and cutlery. It was spacious and comfortable, and parking was easy. A nice place to stay, just a bit quiet and out of the way. The pub wasn’t open on the day I stayed, which was a shame, though understandable with how many pubs are struggling to stay open.

Good pints to choose from and good happy hour deals. The landlords were so friendly and generous, they even let us camp in their beer garden. Legends.

We’re working our way through the menu, and every meal has been delicious. The food’s incredible, the best we’ve had in a long time. There’s a wide range of local beer and ales, and Verdant, brewed locally in Penryn, is a must try. The owners and staff are especially friendly and welcoming. Dogs are more than welcome too. A real hidden gem of a pub. Highly recommend, support your local!

We met friends here for a meal last night, and the welcome was so friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The steak was cooked just as requested, and the burgers were huge and really tasty with the yarg and blue. Our 17 month old grand daughter definitely enjoyed her kids meal. The cheesecake was to die for too. We’ll most certainly return. Thanks for making an already great evening even better x
