Veryan is a lovely village that feels pleasantly untouched by much of modern society. The cottage is dated inside, but clean, with comfortable beds and an amazing shower. We walked to the beach most days, about 15-20 minutes away, with amazing views along the way. Parking is tricky: drive uphill past the house, turn around on one of the little side roads, then come back down and reverse onto the drive. We paid just over £300 for a week, which felt fair when so many places have raised their prices since Covid and would rather sit empty than offer a last minute deal. Pennine cottage is an exception. We look forward to staying here again.
