It's a nice pub right in the city centre, close to the cathedral and the main amenities. They serve a choice of real ales at the bar, and there are also a few hotel rooms. The rooms are warm and en suite, with comfortable beds and tea and coffee facilities.

I enjoyed a pint of Timothy Taylor's "Landlord", but the pub's atmosphere felt short on character. From the outside it looks traditional, though the interior doesn't seem to fit that impression.

This used to be a must-visit pub on any proper night out in Truro. I've been back several times over the past couple of years, on different days and at different times, and it's sad how bland and empty it feels now. Nostalgia probably plays a part, but I still can't believe how characterless the place has become.

The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Two lovely gentlemen on the friendly staff made us feel really welcome. The only issue for me was that the pillows were too soft, but I'd definitely come back. Thank you 😊

Nice pub with good prices and good staff. There's a riverside terrace that could use a little tidying. Cats too, interesting!!
