Ring O Bells

Rachel welcomed us and showed us to our room herself. They checked whether we wanted food and to join them for dinner, and the meal was great. The staff were nice, and we could pick our own table. Service faded a little at the end, but it was busy, so I went to the bar to pay, which was easy. The road nearby made some noise, though it was manageable. The bathroom's tiled floor was freezing, not what you want underfoot at 3am when half asleep. In the morning, staff emptied rubbish into the bins loudly enough to wake us. Breakfast was really nice, and the quality of the ingredients came through. I'll consider other venues from this company next time.

We've been here several times and it's become one of our favourite places. The garden works well for a family outing, with lots of tables and a kids' play area, and it'd also be lovely for a summer date night. It's relaxed, and everyone is welcoming. There's a great choice of drinks, especially ales and ciders. The food was exquisite, with generous portions for a very reasonable price. Can't recommend it enough.

We had a really enjoyable short stay at this welcoming pub by the Mendip hills. The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was plentiful, freshly cooked and delicious. The room was comfortable, though the paintwork could use a refresh and the carpet had marks. It's well placed for the lovely countryside and a wedding venue just three miles away. Thanks to everyone for making the visit so relaxed. We'd recommend staying here.

A pretty village pub in a lovely setting, and a handy place to stay overnight after flying back into Bristol Airport. The comfortable room had some thoughtful touches. Staff knew their stuff about allergies and intolerances, and as a Coeliac I was well catered for. Dinner and breakfast were delicious, and the real ale selection was great, including a gluten free option. I'd happily stay again and recommend it for food or a night away.
