Lazybed Accommodation

The cabin was spotless and well equipped, and the reading material was spot-on and really useful. I loved the varied, thought-provoking DVD selection too. And thank you for the best mint dark chocolate I've ever tasted! During our four nights in mid September, we felt hugged and safe among the trees and shrubs on the hillside. I took lots of photos from the decking at different times of day, and we got a full moon while we were there. On our first evening, a small herd of young deer appeared. A special moment. This cosy lazybed cabin in the woods will stay with us for years, and I'll keep recommending it. I may come back solo with my art supplies and stay in the bat box. Bless you, Gita and David.

Deer came by every day, and there are great hikes right from the house. We had everything we needed, felt comfortable throughout, and look back on the holiday very fondly. The Batbox was really clean, and we loved looking out at the breathtaking view through the large window each day. We'd love to come back to Assynt for another holiday. Thanks so much! A great base for hiking in Assynt and Coigach, with Lochinver's cafes and restaurants nearby. Batbox is an awesome, eco friendly cabin. The lovely path up the hillside winds gradually to this lofty spot, where the living area and deck have panoramic views. It's a peaceful place to sit and think, without digital intrusion.

I've stayed in both Lazybed and Batbox and always leave feeling rejuvenated. They're both unique, fabulous spaces with beautiful views. The hosts are super friendly and give guests their privacy. Such a peaceful, wonderful place. Can't wait to return!
