Ullswater View Apartment

We had a lovely stay in the house, which had been converted to a holiday let. The hotel and B&B-style bedrooms were a nice touch, the beds were comfortable, and the house had excellent amenities. There are lots of lovely walks starting from there. I liked it enough to want to book the same week next year, but the price is far too high. I could go abroad for the same cost, which is a shame.

Julie and her staff were so welcoming and friendly, and you can tell how hard they work to keep the place at such a high standard. Breakfast was superb, with lots to choose from. Our bedroom and the conservatory both had lovely views of the lake and mountains, and the location was great. We spent three nights here. The room was spotless, and housekeeping was available each day if needed. I’d highly recommend this guest house.

The views were fantastic from every room, just as the name The Ullswater View promises. Inside and out, it’s a beautiful place to stay. The rooms were modern and clean, and the beds amazingly comfortable. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve had, with fantastic staff serving it.

A lovely place to base yourself while exploring Ullswater lake and the surrounding hills. The lounge and outdoor seating are both just right, and the rooms are excellent. Everything has been decorated and furnished to a high standard, the staff are excellent, and the food is presented really well. We’d fully recommend this guest house.
