Breakfast was a real highlight, with excellent ingredients and cooking. Low Fell is set in a historic building, beautifully furnished throughout, and the beds and en suite facilities were very comfortable and well appointed. Julieanne and Peter made us feel so welcome. A lovely example of British bed and breakfast at its best.

We loved our stay. Peter and Julieanne were wonderful hosts, and the guesthouse was spotless, warm and cosy. It was such a peaceful place, and breakfast was fantastic. Thank you both.

We were greeted by friendly hosts who knew the area well and had plenty of ideas about its history and things to see and do. The building is full of character, and our room was spotless and lovely, with tea and coffee, chocolate and biscuits. The bed was really comfortable too. Each morning breakfast was freshly prepared, with a choice of full English or fruit, yogurts and cereals. We’ll definitely stay again.

This was just the quiet break I needed after a stressful couple of months, and a lovely base for exploring The Lake District. The house is beautiful, the bed so comfortable, and I’ll miss that shower. Breakfast was a delight, and the hosts were kind and friendly. A wonderful stay. 😍
