From the outside I thought it was just a tiny pub with hardly any seating, but going around the bar opened up into a really lovely area for eating and drinking. It was clean and modern, with reasonably priced food. The staff were lovely and the service and attention were very good. We came in late, and the barman kindly came over to let us know the kitchen was due to close in four minutes so we wouldn’t be disappointed. Definitely coming back next time we’re on our jollies.

The staff, food, and atmosphere were all brilliant. I had the leek and potato soup followed by the beef Sunday roast. The portions were so generous I couldn’t manage dessert. Highly recommended.

A beautiful pub with a pleasant staff and an outdoor eating area. The covered space and outdoor fireplace are lovely additions for cooler days and evenings.

The two staff members who served us were brilliant, and the food was great. The katsu starter was fantastic, and the cajun never disappoints.
