The pub’s food and beer were so good that we ate there for nearly every meal. We ended up staying for three days by chance and had a lovely time. Our room was spacious, clean and really nice, and Ian & Anne were wonderful hosts. It was child friendly too. We’re glad we found the place and hope to return next year :)

The rooms made a great impression on the visitors we had stay there, and the food is simple but superb. This is a proper village pub, with Ian and Anne doing everything they can for guests. The beer is second to none, and I’d put their Bloody Mary up against any in the world. If you’re looking for somewhere to eat or drink around southern Warwickshire or the north Cotswolds, this is the place.

Cosy inside, with a really relaxed atmosphere, and the beer is always excellent. Ian and Anne are so friendly and welcoming every time. One of the best pubs for miles around, highly recommended.

Back around 2013, Ian & Anne gave us a warm welcome at this great village pub. The Tuesday night fish and chips were not to be missed. Thanks, we’ll be back! But Ian & Anne are no longer there, and the pub is currently closed. 😔

There’s lots of seating outside for sunny days, though it can get very busy. A lovely country pub, run by a well-known, likeable character people call (Baggy).
