Dove Meadow B & B

We stayed in the chalet as a family of four while visiting Alton Towers, and it was a great fit for us. Breakfast was delicious and brought to the chalet, with pancakes as an option for the children. The owners were lovely and very helpful. Great place to stay, highly recommended. We'll definitely come back if we're in the area again.

We spent two nights in the Apple Tree Chalet with my partner and son. The views were fantastic, and the little place was beautiful, spotless and comfortable. The owners did everything they could to help us feel at home, and Poppy the dog was a delight. I'd highly recommend it, five stars!!!

We slept better than we have in ages, with sheep right outside the bedroom window to wake up to. The breakfasts were delicious on both mornings, and the accommodation was perfect for a quiet retreat from the bustle of London. At Dove Meadow, John & Myfanwy made us feel at ease as soon as we arrived. They're attentive, warm, friendly and helpful. Poppy and the cats add to the homely feel. The breakfast was superb, with lovely butcher's bacon and sausages and fresh eggs. We stayed in the apple tree chalet, which was beautiful, with excellent facilities and everything super clean. It's about a ten-minute drive to alton towers, so the location is perfect for a visit there, but it'd also be great for a countryside getaway. The owners were friendly and very accommodating, always offering more than expected. I'll definitely stay again!
