Heywood Hall

After spending all day walking around Alton Towers, it was great to come back and relax in the hot tub. We had a lovely two-night stay, and the hosts were lovely as well. We’d definitely come again and recommend a visit.

The Victoria Suite’s four-poster bed looked so lovely, but my partner is 6"6 and found it really hard to get comfortable and sleep. We’d already used the kitchen and bathroom, so we didn’t raise it, as we felt it was our oversight. Just something to keep in mind if you or your partner are tall. We loved staying at Heywood Hall. The suite was stunning, very clean and practical, with lots of great facilities. Being able to cook our own meals was handy, and the breakfast suppliers on offer were wonderful. I especially enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. The owners suggested some great day trips, and we had a brilliant day at monkey Forest thanks to them. Alton Towers is only a five or ten minute drive away. We also went to the local pub and got such a warm welcome from the locals. Thanks for a stay that went beyond our expectations. We’re already talking about coming back :)

The area is beautiful, and I’m sorry we didn’t have time to explore more before leaving. We stayed at Heywood Hall for two nights while visiting Scarefest at Alton Towers. Alison greeted us on Friday evening with a really genuine, friendly welcome. Our Rebecca apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped. We felt very lucky to find this little gem, and we’ll definitely return. Thank you ❤️

After eight hours walking around the park, the hot tub was just what we needed in the evenings. It’s a big part of why we like staying here. The suite was immaculate again, roomy and comfortable, and the fridge was stocked with the usual bacon, sausages and so on, just right before a day at the parks. The new owners were every bit as friendly and helpful as the previous couple. There was a bottle of wine and a welcome back card in the fridge, a lovely touch. We arrived an hour before check-in, which was fine, and they showed us to our suite. It’s great value, with home comforts and a bit of luxury together. We’ll be back next year as always.
