Ventnor rocks! We loved having the dog with us, and the room had everything we needed for a comfortable night. There was tea and coffee, with extra sachets available from reception, and we were pleasantly surprised to find Netflix and YouTube on the TV. At other places we’ve stayed recently, we couldn’t even get the TV to work. We had a balcony room on a room-only basis, as it was out of season. Even in the rain, we could sit under the covered balcony with a coffee and watch the waves. The views over Ventnor beach were amazing, and the hotel is brilliantly placed for the beach and town. Hope to come again.

The sea views from my lovely room were gorgeous, and the staff were attentive and obliging throughout my four-night Easter holiday stay with my dog Toto. Breakfast was a great standard. Gary Andy Steve and Trevor were especially friendly, so thank you to them. I’ll definitely come back and can’t recommend the place enough. Thanks for a great stay. Lynne x

The balcony was huge and came with great outdoor furniture, with amazing views across the beach. Our room was lovely and clean, and the staff at the Wellington Hotel were welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast was great value, with plenty of options. We loved our stay and would definitely book here again.

Waking up to that unreal sea view was a real highlight, and the location was perfect. The staff were incredible, going out of their way throughout our stay and making sure nothing felt like too much trouble. The veggie breakfast was a solid 10/10, the best we’ve ever had! We’d absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Isle of Wight. Thanks for a wonderful holiday.

Kelsey at the front desk gave me such a warm welcome and really shaped my first impression of the hotel. I stayed in the family room alone and would still recommend it for the spectacular sea view. The hotel was comfortable, clean, quiet and convenient, and the whole experience was lovely. It had everything I needed for a great stay on the island.
