Upper Deck

We tried to come in for drinks today, but the man at the front desk was very unwelcoming. I understand the pub was full and couldn’t accommodate us, but a friendlier tone and a more helpful approach would have been appreciated. Perhaps you’re in the wrong job.

The fireworks across the harbour in Padstow made a brilliant finish to our New Year’s Eve event. There were 33 of us, with a pre picked menu, and everything ran from 19:30 to 01:00. The Upper deck organised a special event, and the staff, atmosphere and ambience were superb. The food was utterly sublime. Highly recommend this place.

We spent a relaxing hour here while waiting for the weather to improve and the ferry to start running from the slip instead of the beach. We knew it closed at 4pm, but the staff gave us and our dogs a great welcome when we called in around 3pm for drinks and cards. The background music was great, the dogs behaved, and the view across the Camel Estuary meant we could keep an eye on the ferry. My coffee was exceptionally good, my wife’s lemoncello was too, and I followed up with a large spiced rum on the rocks. Thank you.

We came for lunch on a rainy day with our dog. The food was very tasty, the staff were friendly, and it’s a lovely place. Very dog friendly too.
