We had a lovely stay at Hopgarden for my sister’s hen do. The weather wasn’t on our side, but Kellie was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The bell tents were warm and comfortable, with duvets, hot water bottles and lovely decor. We’d love to come again and would recommend it to others.

I was very disappointed with the camping field. It costs £17.50 per person per night, but the facilities were one shower with gas bottles somehow used to heat the water, a portable toilet that didn’t have enough paper, a cold water tap and a sink with no running water. Campers also ignored the campsite’s noise rules, and those rules weren’t enforced, so nobody slept during the night. The price should be lower to match the facilities, or the facilities need improving as soon as possible.
Kellie and Daisy made us feel so welcome at the Hop Garden shepherd’s huts. We stayed as a couple for our first anniversary, and the hut was cosy and cute, with all the amenities we needed. Towels, hairdryers and wash bits were provided for the showers. It was peaceful and quiet, and we loved the fire pit, chairs outside and pretty lights. We’re looking forward to coming back with friends. I’d highly recommend it.
Kellie was a fabulous host, with friendly, helpful communication from start to finish. She even brought us marshmallows to toast over the fire. We were a group of 10 and booked all three shepherd’s huts plus a bell tent. Everyone in the group had a lovely time. The huts and tent were cute and cosy, and the kitchen and shower huts had everything we needed. You could tell every detail had been thought of. Thanks, Kellie, for a wonderful stay!
We stayed in a shepherd’s hut, while the rest of our family had two bell tents, and everything was great from start to finish. The beds were really comfortable, the place was very clean, and the decor was lovely. The toilets, showers and bathroom were spotless too. It’s a beautiful location, and the lights make it look so pretty after sunset. There’s a big grassy area for kids or a game of rounders, like we played. Kelly and Daisy were lovely and helpful. We can’t wait to go back, and would absolutely recommend this campsite. 10/10!
