The atmosphere was just right after our Sunday walk, and the staff were attentive and polite. I had a lovely Sunday afternoon at The White Hart with old friends. Between us we tried the VG/Vegetarian option, chicken and beef roasts, and everything was delicious and great value.

Everyone in our family group was happy with the meal at the White Hart Wadhurst. They covered vegetarian, vegan and nut-free needs, while the meat eaters enjoyed a delicious roast. We’ve just come back from eating there, and the service was excellent. Thank you!

The food was 10/10 for our Sunday roast at the White Hart pub in Wadhurst. Mo and the team were really friendly, and we had an amazing meal with the family.

The owners were so kind and helpful, and happy to stop for a chat. We stayed in the pretty, clean Birch room and had a lovely visit. We’ll definitely come back! This is a review of the hotel, since Google seems to list it only as a pub and restaurant.

That late lunch stop turned out to be a great call. I was cycling back toward the station and we hadn’t booked. The roast chicken and apple crumble were among the best pub roasts I’ve had, and a real bargain. My wife’s fish and chips were better than expected too. Really glad we stopped.
