Spring Wood Studios

We loved sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine, taking in the hillside view and listening to the creek below. Studio 2 had everything we needed, and Heather had prepared it so thoughtfully. She was very welcoming when we arrived. The creekside path gives you an easy, lovely walk into town from the doorstep, though it gets very dark on the way back at night, so bring a light or get a taxi. We found the taxi very affordable. I’d absolutely stay again and hope to come back.

We had such a great time. The beds were comfortable, the decor was lovely, and our hosts were friendly. There are beautiful views across the Craggs, and the walk by the river to Hard castle craggs and Hebden was lovely too. A fantastic place in a great location.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the Juliet balcony had lovely views. Heather always makes us feel welcome and every stay enjoyable. It’s a lovely self catering place, conveniently close to Hardcastle Crags and the town.

The apartment was so well equipped, and the hosts were friendly and extremely helpful. It’s completely surrounded by nature, with views that are hard to believe until you see them. A perfect place to base yourself for a refreshing, restorative break.
