The place is beautiful, and the accommodation was wonderful. Sam, it was lovely to meet you in person. Thanks for being so kind to Sharon, me and the pups and taking such good care of us. We’ll be back, and wish you both the best for the future.

Kath and Sam were incredibly welcoming. When my van was written off in an accident on the way from Southampton to North Wales, I called Kath to say I’d miss the 3pm check-in. She told me not to worry and left the key in the hut door, so we could arrive whenever. We got there at 23:30 and found a lovely note, four beers and a bottle of wine. The next morning, Kath offered to drive me and my three dogs wherever we needed to go since we had no vehicle. She really did drop whatever she was doing to take us around, and that kindness saved our holiday. I can’t thank Kath and Sam enough, and we’re looking forward to coming back. The Gypsy Hut felt like home, and it was laid out and presented really nicely. There’s a 1.5 acre paddock attached where the dogs can run, with lovely walks right nearby. Waterfalls and mountains are a short drive away. If you’re into this kind of life, you may not want to leave. Kath and Sam are two of the nicest people you could meet.

The enclosed space gave our dog plenty of room to roam, and we had lots of wood for the log burner. It was a cracking, relaxing stay, and we’d happily return. The drive up to the hut is a bit narrow if you’re not used to roads like that, so take it slowly and expect oncoming traffic.
