The grounds were lovely to walk around, and the riverbank is close by. Skegness is only about 10 minutes away by car. We picked this place mainly because dogs are allowed in the rooms, and that worked well for us. The staff were polite and left us to ourselves, which I appreciated. The room was plain, as you'd expect at a dog-friendly place, but clean, with fresh bedding. I enjoyed the short stay.

The facilities were clean, including the toilet and shower, and we had hookups for water and electricity for £25 a night. We came for the weekend in our campervan with my wife. The young owner was really nice and helpful. The campsite was nearly empty since it wasn't the season, but everything we needed was available. Highly recommend it.

The bar and cafe were really nice, and you have to try the homemade vodka shots! The owner was so helpful and happy to do anything for us. It felt like being part of the family at this friendly site. This was the best holiday we've ever had, and we really didn't want to leave. We'll be back as soon as we can, and I'd strongly recommend it to anyone.

The site itself was okay. My partner and I enjoy wild camping and don't mind roughing it, but I'd have been outraged if I'd paid for a tepee glamping stay. The toilet was blocked, the shower curtain was grim, and the tiled floor was wet. There was nowhere suitable to wash dishes. The sink was full of dirt and spiderwebs and looked unused for months. The only running water was a tap in the ground, so we managed to rinse our cups. The bigger problem was the booking charge. We were charged an extra £35 to change the date and assured we'd get a refund for the original booking, but it never came. Our two nights in our own tent ended up costing £75. I've made countless calls and none have been returned. Avoid!

It feels like home, and it's simply the friendliest place I've ever stayed. The staff are kind and amazing, nothing seems like too much trouble, and they offer plenty of help. Rooms are very clean and nicely presented, the food is good, and it's child friendly. The location is excellent and access is okay, though very large vehicles need to take care when turning. Rates are very competitive.
