Fairlawns Hotel and Spa

We stayed overnight after a wedding reception here yesterday, and the bed was so comfortable. The facilities were spacious and clean, and the food was amazing from start to finish. Staff were pleasant, attentive and efficient all day and into the night. Jules stood out in particular as a lovely, hardworking lady. The manager, whose name I didn’t get, was amazing too. Thanks to all the staff.

The spa was so much better than I expected, even though I didn’t have any expectations. I had a beautiful time there. Breakfast was great and well worth it, and the staff were amazing. I wasn’t keen on my starter, though, as I expected more flavour. I also had a salad that tasted really fishy. I’m not sure whether the chicken was cooked where the fish is cooked, but it was quite unpleasant.

We had the most amazing time at our Fairlawns wedding, and everyone had an absolute ball. Thank you so much to you and your staff. We got endless compliments about the venue and food, and about how hard every member of staff worked all day. We really appreciated it. Everyone was so accommodating, and it was the best day of our lives.

The room was spacious and peaceful, with a huge comfortable bed, and the whole hotel was spotless, pretty, and surrounded by greenery and lights. Breakfast was included and really tasty, with plenty of good choices. We also had a three-hour thermal suite pass and full access to the spa. The mud chamber treatment was lovely, especially because the therapist explained each step and made it feel easy. Everyone we met was warm and helpful, which made us feel very well looked after. Such a relaxing night away, and we’re already keen to return.
