We’ve only recently moved to the area, and we were delighted from the moment we arrived. Elliot looked after us so well, the welcome was incredibly warm, and the food was generous and delicious. The atmosphere was just right. We’re already looking forward to making it a regular spot.

The duck was cooked perfectly, and I took a quince tart with cream away because we had to head off. It may be one of the best tarts I’ve ever had. Coffee was really good too, and the food was excellent. The staff were attentive and friendly, the pub is super dog friendly, and everything was beautifully decorated and maintained.

We stopped at the Angel for lunch yesterday with our 19 month old daughter after pumpkin picking, and had such a lovely time. There’s plenty of parking, and the interior is gorgeous. The staff were lovely and a real credit to the place, and the food was super yummy. I only wish it were a bit cheaper so I could eat here more often. Thank you!

I had the beef shin pie, and it was so tasty. We got a warm welcome from the owners, and the staff were friendly too. It’s a lovely traditional pub, with a log fire, great food and plenty of parking round the back. I’ll definitely come back.

We enjoyed the meal so much that I came back later in the week with my sisters, and they loved theirs too. The menu is great, the food was good, and the staff made us feel welcome. It’s a friendly pub and dog friendly as well, well worth a visit.
