The hosts were incredibly helpful, even after we’d left. We accidentally sent Amazon packages to the farm, and they patiently helped arrange redelivery. We originally chose the place for its closeness to the beach and the Tank Museum, but ended up loving the farm itself. The pool and huge grounds were fantastic, and exploring the woodland and enjoying the peaceful surroundings kept us happily occupied for hours. It was the relaxing escape we needed, even with a toddler. We still treasure the stay, and our toddler often asks to go back. We’ll definitely return!

A beautiful farm with great accommodation, everything we needed, and a fantastic swimming pool. There’s plenty to do within a 30-minute drive. Great for a family holiday, and I’d highly recommend it. A travel cot and high chair were provided.

The kids had loads to do on site, and having private use of the pool was perfect. It’s an amazing, quiet, peaceful place in a perfect location for our family holiday, with lots of activities just a short drive away!

We’ve had another great stay and are giving it five stars again. Thanks! The location makes it easy to reach all sorts of adventures, including the sea life centre, beaches, monkey world, and corfe castle. We returned in Aug 2025, three years after our first visit with our firstborn, this time as a family of four in Monopoly, a slightly larger one-bedroom apartment with everything we needed. The bedroom was big enough for a double bed, a single, and a cot. The kids loved brushing the donkeys each morning, using the games room, and swimming every day. The pool water was much warmer than on our last visit. Some games room items and outdoor play equipment are getting tired and could use an upgrade. The pool table felt is wrecked and the seesaw has no handles, but the kids didn’t mind. One small criticism: we had to keep the Juliet balcony door closed because there’s a toddler-shaped gap at the bottom. I mean, his tummy or head may not quite have fit, but I didn’t want to test it. A simple metal bar welded across would fix it. On our first family holiday in Nov 2022, my wife and I stayed in the Granary Cottage with our 18-month-old. It was cute and well equipped with bedding, crockery, pots, and pans. The friendly staff provided a cot, stair gate, and high chair free of charge. Facilities included a games room, outdoor games, playground, ponds, swimming pool, gym, goats, and donkeys. The pool was a bit cold for a toddler, and the gym equipment was a bit dated. There were also beaches, walks, Sea Life centre, and Monkey world nearby. The cottage had several storage heaters that kept it toasty warm, but they got very hot to touch even on low settings, with no fire guards, so it was hard to keep a toddler away. The stair gate had no door, meaning we had to screw and unscrew it whenever we needed to pass through. We found it easier to push the travel cot in front of the stairs. We had a great holiday, made happy memories, and would definitely return.

I’ve travelled all over the world and never seen a cleaner place. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, and Bev made us feel very welcome and catered to all our needs. We loved the pool, especially having it to ourselves for an hour each day, and the sauna was nice and hot. There are donkeys, goats, and lots of ducks, plus a farm with more animals just up the road. The playroom kept our three-year-old busy on rainy days. I’d also highly recommend the royal oak pub for a Sunday carvery. We’re looking forward to coming back, especially in summer :)
