We enjoyed our visit on 16/9/22, and the area has some stunning views. The Old Forge has been restored into a very nice place to stay. As a retired safety officer, I do think a few inexpensive changes could make visits easier and safer. Marking the edges of the many steps with tape and fitting grab rails beside them would help visitors with mobility issues. The loose gravel in the garden could also be replaced with a paved path from the gate to the building, making access safer at night. We didn’t think much of the Scott Arms pub next door.
